CYNH Step Team

City Year New Hampshire has rhythm, yes we do! CYNH can step, how about you?  Hello all, it’s the proud corps member, Brandi Worley reporting once again. This year has been full of challenges, triumph and long hours.  Most of those long hours came about because I like to reach new levels of leadership by bringing to life anything that peaks my interest. One activity that I have loved since my college days is stepping. Step is an innovative, yet uniformed dance that creates rhythmic sounds using the body.  After the Basic Training Retreat (BTR) hosted in September, I was inspired to teach step to those interested in learning and showcasing a routine at our Advanced Training Retreat in February.  After broadcasting that I needed a team, corps members, senior corps and staff signed up. We practiced hard for approximately two months and once ATR came, we rocked the stage with pride.

Having the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of people during our free time, was a moment in time that I won’t easily forget. Hope you enjoyed the video!
